Both, Emily’s House and Emily’s Home Over the Bakery are works of my heart after having a childcare business and being on a hotline for women and girls.

A person may be born into a dysfunctional home, but they aren’t doomed to repeat it. They have the power to plan differently and create a better life. One way is by observing families, and implementing the things they see that make it work, and avoiding the things that cause the dysfunction.

This is what Emily discovers, and she has a whole village of people setting an example—both the good to embrace, and the bad to avoid—all with good humor, and lots of love thrown into the mix.
